Is it possible to use your skin, but add a different menu, say the Snapsis CSS menu?
Thanks,
Steven

Steven,

Not at present. Version 1 only supports the dnngarden.com menu.

However it may be possible to support other menu options in the future though this is currently not on the roadmap. Whether we do choose to suport other menu systems will depend upon demand.

Thanks for your interest.

Thanks.
One more question; in the header area, can I use my logo.gif file, or is it only text?
Thanks,
Steven

Steven,

Yes you can use an image in the banner. This is the standard method used by DotNetNuke. Go to Admin > Site Settings and expand the Appearance section. You can select your banner image from there.

You could also use the Header Pane to place a module for a slide show similar to this.

See here for pane layout screen shots.

Declan,
Thanks so much. This is very helpful. If I want a page with just 2 equal panes, side by side, could I collapse the side pane by leaving it empty?
Thanks,
Steven

Hi Steven,

This option is not currently available in the Reactor skin out of the box but you can achieve it using the custom styles editor.

I can help you do it.

Do you know what module has been used for the changing/rotating image?

I would like to put a similar thing on my site, both for the MastHead and Header Panes.

It is the cycle jQuery plugin:
