It is the first Nucleus compatible skin with a large array of options for extensive customization. Features

  • Three parent page skins provide three navigation options (top, side, and a combination of both) and two different pane layouts. All are editable with Nucleus so you can add your own styles and create as many child page skins as you need. Any combination of parent skins and containers, along with your own unique creations, can be used throughout your site.
  • All layouts are fully CSS-driven, HTML table-less and grid-based. CSS hooks are included for just about everything that can be displayed on the page relating to the skin and containers.
  • The menus are designed with SEO in mind (unordered lists), accessible and powered by DDRMenu with custom templates and jQuery.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) goes way beyond the menus though. All container titles use heading tags and the XHTML code behind the page skins and containers is clean and as semantic as possible. Divitis, spanitis and everything -itis won’t be found here!
  • The CSS is modular, clean and readable and also includes some basic content styles.
  • All page skins and containers are tested and compatible with all A-grade browsers.

Nucleus Options

Reactor includes many editable options grouped into five panels. Each panel has its options grouped too based on the section the options are related to.

In other words, you get Display, Skin Sections & Elements, Navigation, Custom Styles and Containers panels.

Display options let you toggle the visibility of just about every skin section and element on the page.

The Skin Sections & Elements panel includes options for customizing the appearance of different sections and elements on the page, like header, toolbar, content area, footer etc.

Custom Styles is an experimental panel that lets you add your own CSS styles to be included in the page skin to be generated.

The Containers panel includes options to create containers with different background colors, fonts, borders, etc.

More detailed information about the available options can be found in the documentation.
