Hello! I've got a problem: I installed a skinpackage (myfirstskin.zip from this site), went to 'skins' and apllied the new skin. Then it happened, I could not do a single thing anymore. It seems I'd applied the readme file. I guess this is what I did wrong: I installed the whole package, not just skins.zip, one folder higher (including: skins.zip, readme & containers.zip). Chose myfirstskin from the 'skinlist' and applied it. But now there is no turning back. Who helps me out? Thanks a lot!

Hi Linda and welcome! You're right! You had to extract locally first the zip file you got. If you have FTP access go to \Portals\0\Skins\ and delete the whole myfirstskin folder. This will force DNN to apply the default skin. Then go to Admin/Site Settings and upload - apply the right skin. If you don't have FTP access ask your host to delete the folder for you.
