Why would the menu look different for pages that have daughter pages, versus pages without? The menu item appears slightly higher on the pages with sub-pages...
Using latest version of firefox...
Naturally, it looks normal in IE.
More bizarre- on another PC *with* firefox, it does not render the menu item differently!

Hi,
Could you please post some information about the machine on which you get the issue? OS and DNN version.
Works fine on my machine with the latest version of Firefox.

Well, it seems that it is particular to my MACHINE... I've been on several different boxes, different versions of firefox and IE- and they all look great.
Just my development machine makes it so it looks peculiar.

Yes, I see!
On my machine looks OK, FF version 2.0.0.3 / WinXP Pro
I think I know what may cause this issue so I'll try a blind fix and I'll send you an updated version of the skin. |

That looks great now on my PC here (when at one time it did show an unexpected alignment), I'll have to wait a bit until I can see what it looks like on my Haunted Development PC though.
I really appreciate you looking into the matter.
Thanks!
P.S.
Is it possible that somehow I've corrupted some default setting on the browser?

Vasilis:
My dev. machine was obviously dropped on it's head when it was a wee thing.
NOW, the menu items appear at the same height (as they should- that part looks great) BUT, they jump laterally i.e., the width of each item changes on mouseover (well, each item except "Home")
IF this is something unique to MY version of FireFox, on MY machine- then I am fine with it as it is.
Again, Thanks. |

Probably it was just your browser cache.
I'll do some more testing and then I'll send the updated version.
Cheers |

Oops, nice timing!
You mean the width of the root menu items changes on mouse over?
And you get this issue on my last demo?
http://demo4.thinkofdesign.com/leggero/
Yep, and yep.
It is the "Home" and "Contact" menu items that are changing width...
if I had to guess, I'd say by about 5 px.
As far as browser quirks go- this has to take the cake: It's just my browser.
