Discuss DNN modules!

I am looking for a module that allows you to put multiple pictures in, but only allow the module to display one picture at a time. Basically making it looking like the page in constantly changing, random.

Anyone know of something??

There is a free one at bitethebullet.co.uk which does exactly that.

Talking about modules I found this tutorial today:

Creating a Super-Fast and Super-Easy DotNetNuke® Module - For absolute beginners! (For DotNetNuke Version 4.3 or higher)

which looks really good!

I was looking at your del.icio.us Link Rolls, and I was wondering what module you used?

It's nothing special... a simple Text/HTML module where I have put two lines of JavaScript code that has been generated with the del.icio.us linkrolls tool you can find at this help page:

http://del.icio.us/help/linkrolls

Then I used CSS to make the links look the way I want.

WOW, easy enough!

I love it when you can make nice looking things with hardly any work!

Hey Vasilis Nice new skin...Pink seems to be the new color of the day.

Anyway, I was looking for a store module that enables the user to to purchase an online download. Anyone got a suggestion of what module I should use? I have tried Portal Store, great product, but a little over kill for my uses.

What do you use Vasilis?

Hi Vince,

I'm glad you like the new skin!

I don't use a dotnetnuke store module for the same reason... they're all too overkill for my needs. Instead I have found and use an online service called Payloadz. With payloadz I can setup a new product and make it available for download in a minute. Their fees are reasonable and the overall process works just fine.

All I wanted was a secure and fast way to sell downloads and that's what I get with payloadz.

If you ever try it let me know about your experience.

Cheers
